PALO SANTOS

Facing the imposing Pacific Ocean, on the Eucadirian coast, among the dry and broken forest, we find the Palo Santo tree (Bursera Graveeolens), a native species found in some sectors in the province of Manabi.
 
Used in ceremonies and rituals of our aborigines, it is a tree with innumerable benefits, ranging from spiritual to medicinal. From their main trunk, these small rectangular sticks are cut, selected, and placed, one by one, into the box or small bag.
